Hi there! My name is Abigail, I am a born and raised Jacksonville based artist. As a child I loved making art and I didn't know how to stop, so I pursued it throughout my life. I graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor's in fine art. I'm also a Douglas Anderson School of the Arts alumni. I started my journey with Art With a Heart in 2018 and discovered the impact of arts in healthcare. My favorite part about being an artist in residence are the connections I form with patients and their families. For me, it's not about the final product that makes an amazing work of art, but the process and journey along the way.
