The Mett Family of Yulee Donates to Art with a Heart in Healthcare

Art with a Heart in Healthcare has received its annual donation of funds and art supplies from the Mett family of Yulee, Fla. Since 2012, Shannel Mett and her family celebrate their son Kaylum Dean Anthony Frank’s life and preserve his legacy by giving back to the organization. Their donation will be used in countless future art sessions with hospitalized children.

Art with a Heart in Healthcare (AWAHIH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to arts and healing. Six days a week, AWAHIH’s team of Artists-in-Residence, volunteers, and interns provide personalized, fine art sessions to patients and their families at the hospital bedside, in outpatient clinic waiting rooms, and in inpatient hospital playrooms.
